TikTok has introduced fresh additions to its “Sounds for Business” audio collection, featuring additional audio snippets from various TikTok influencers. These clips are freely accessible for advertisers within the app.

The latest audio samples, found in TikTok’s “Commercial Audio Library,” offer expanded choices for your advertising campaigns.

According to TikTok:

“Our brand-new Sounds for Business – Voice Clips were crafted to aid brands of all sizes in effortlessly crafting a diverse array of sound-enhanced content, with 18 unique voiceover audio templates at your disposal for all your TikTok videos. Recorded by acclaimed TikTok Creators Anania, Matt Buechele, Devin Halbal, Good Children, Sani Sisters, and Very Gay Paint, these complimentary tracks inject some of the platform’s most familiar voices into your videos, providing the ideal soundtrack for trend-ready content.”

The concept here is to enable the use of more recognizable voices in TikTok promotions through pre-recorded audio clips by platform luminaries.

It’s an intriguing proposition, essentially streamlining creator partnerships without brands needing to negotiate individual agreements with the creators. However, it’s worth noting that the audio isn’t customized, and you can only utilize the provided pre-recorded samples. Nonetheless, it could add an extra flair to your TikTok content.

Audio is a crucial component of the TikTok experience, with 88% of users acknowledging its significance in their enjoyment of the app. Furthermore, 73% of TikTok users state that sound prompts them to engage with an ad. Thus, it’s vital to consider how sound can be leveraged effectively.

These statistics are particularly interesting given the platform’s ongoing dispute with Universal Music, resulting in Universal withdrawing all its music from TikTok. This presents a challenge, especially since many popular artists such as Taylor Swift, Adele, Drake, and Billie Eilish are under Universal.

But setting that aside, this new announcement highlights the potential of in-app audio content and its role in bolstering businesses’ in-stream promotions.

TikTok confirms that the 18 new voice clips audio are now accessible in its Commercial Music Library, which continues to expand with fresh music and sounds to aid the creative process.
